Hawaii Beach Hotels & Resorts

Hawaii is an isolated archipelago of islands in the U.S. The islands in Hawaii are known for their vast ecological diversity boasting volcanoes, cliffs, tropical growths, forests, and beaches with white, gold, red, black, and even green sand. The biggest and most popular Hawaii islands are Oahu and Honolulu. The former of these is the capital of Hawaii with one of its biggest cities, whereas the latter is popular for its Pearl Harbor history and its famous Waikiki Beach. When traveling to Hawaii there are a lot of great islands to choose from with a large variety of great hotels. In this list we’ve reviewed the top 15 beach hotels in Hawaii.

# 1

Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas

Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas are a series of luxury villas located north of Black Rock, along Kaanapali beach. If you’re on a vacation for a long period, you can get one of the studio villas featuring one-bedroom, kitchenette, and all other necessary appliances such as dryers, washers, TV, etc. All the villas in the property come with separate baths and rain showers, and as such the bathroom experience is always heavenly. If you’d like to relax, you can also go to Spa Helani, where you may also seek one of the massages that incorporate Hawaiian elements into it. In addition to the villas, the property comes with a lot of additional amenities, such as the presence of 2 gyms, 2 convenience stores, and 3 restaurants. As such Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas are really a little self-sustaining ecosystem all on their own, and if you live here, you don’t have to ever step out. The villas are all located along the coast and thus face the sea. However, there are a bunch of great water features even within the resort such as a meandering lagoon, cascades and waterfalls, a 90-foot waterslide, whirlpools, and a heated pool. As such, there’s plenty to keep you and your kids busy in this resort. If you seek a bit of culture and education, the Puuhonua cultural center regularly hosts “talk shows” with Hawaiian experts that teaches you a lot about their style of living. One of the only drawbacks of this resort is that it’s so large that exploring all of it can be tiring.

# 2

Polo Beach Club

Polo Beach Club, as the name suggests, is located on the Polo beach. In fact, it’s located so close to the water that you don’t have to walk much at all to step into the sea. The beach is literally in your front yard. The hotel is designed in the style of notches and rises up to eight floors. You should ask for one of the rooms closest to the sea, i,e., the Prime Oceanfront notches. However, these are also considerably more expensive than the other rooms in the hotel. The rooms are designed in such a way that both the living room and the bedrooms enjoy a complete view of the sea through the glass walls. The hotel has been designed in such a way that every room enjoys a sea view, but to differing extents. The beach features some lovely yellow sand that’s soft on the feet and may tempt you to while away all your days idling by the beach loungers. The hotel also offers great service, and one of their best offerings is their willingness to shop for groceries and have them prepared before your arrival. As such, if you enjoy a good home cooked meal, you don’t have to skip that even during your stay. You can even call upon one of their many massage services if you’d like to relax and unwind. If you’d like to go explore the neighborhood or the island, you can rent a car for $35. This hotel is most certainly not cheap, however it’s all worth it.
